This guide will help you change the password for an email account through cPanel.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Log into cPanel:
- Open Your Web Browser: Use your preferred web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari).
- Visit the GippsHost Client Area: In the address bar, type in https://clientarea.gippshost.com.au and press Enter.
- Log In to the Client Area:
- Email Address: Enter the email address you used when signing up for GippsHost.
- Password: Enter the password you created during the signup process.
- Click the "Log In" button.
- Navigate to Your Active Products/Services: Once logged in, you will see the Client Area dashboard. Locate the "Your Active Products/Services" section.
- Select Your Web Hosting Service: In the "Your Active Products/Services" section, find your active web hosting service. Click on the "View Details" button next to your web hosting service.
- Log In to cPanel: On the service options page, look for the "Log in to cPanel" button. Click the "Log in to cPanel" button to automatically log into your cPanel dashboard.
- Navigate to Email Accounts:
- In the cPanel dashboard, locate the "Email Accounts" icon under the "Email" section.
- Find Your Email Account:
- Scroll down to the "Email Accounts" section.
- Locate the email account for which you want to change the password.
- Manage Email Account:
- Click on the "Manage" button next to the email account you wish to update.
- Change the Password:
- In the "Password" section, enter your new password in the provided fields. Make sure to use a strong password.
- Click on the "Update Email Settings" button to save the new password.
