System File Checker - Fix problems with essential system files

If you are having some strange issues with your Windows PC, and have ran malware scans with no change, it might be time to run the System File Checker, to repair any system files damaged by Malware or improper shutdowns of your PC.

STEP ONE:
Click Start and in the search box, type "cmd" (without the quotes). Right click on Command Prompt and choose to run as Administrator.

STEP TWO:
In the Command Prompt, type sfc /scannow and press enter.

This process can take up to an hour to complete, so sit back, relax, Don't interrupt it as it can cause irrepairable damage to your Windows Installation.

Once it's complete, restart your Windows PC, and hopefully your issues are resolved!
